delhiDay 01: Arrival Delhi
On arrival in Delhi, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel you are booked in.

The capital of India, Delhi is not only the political center but also the cultural center of the country. It is the best place to start your memorable trip to India. This metropolitan city is a fascinating blend of the past and present, a fact that amazes many.

Day 02 : Delhi
After breakfast, you will be taken on a local sightseeing tour of Delhi. Located between the Aravallis Hills and the Yamuna River, Delhi offers some fantastic historical sites of tourist interest.

The Old Delhi tour includes Jama Masjid, the largest mosque of India and the famous Red Fort.

The New Delhi tour includes Humayun's Tomb, Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi and the celebrated Qutub Minar. Drive along the well-known Rajpath, past the historical India Gate, Parliament House, President's residence and through the reputed Diplomatic Enclave where the embassies of different nations are located.

Drive to Agra in the afternoon. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel you are booked in.

Day 03: Agra - Umaria
Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Agra after breakfast.

Visit the enchanting Taj Mahal, one of the most beautiful monuments ever beheld by man. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj is by far one of the most visited tourist attractions in India. The next stop is the Agra Fort that was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD. The fort houses some very interesting structures and palaces that dazzle the eyes.

Later, board an overnight train to Umaria.

Day 04: Umaria - Bandhavgarh
After arrival in Umaria, drive to Bandhavgarh that is one of the most popular tiger reserves in India.

Situated in the very heart of Madhya Pradesh, the Bandhavgarh National Park is popular with animal lovers from all over the world. This area once belonged to the Maharaja of Rewa and was later developed into a national park.

Check in at a jungle lodge and later enjoy a Jeep-ride in the Jungle. Overnight in Hotel.


Day 05: Bandhavgarh - Kanha
Indulge in an early morning visit to the wilds of Bandhavgarh.

The national park is home to rare species of animals and other wildlife including the Royal Bengal Tiger. You may also spot other species like the Nilgai, Chausingha, Chinkara and Chital along with birds like the Plum Headed Parakreet, Spotted Dove, Black Stork, Purple Sunbird and the Red Collared Dove.

Later, drive to Kanha and check into a pre booked hotel on arrival. Overnight in Hotel.

KanhaDay 06: Kanha
Enjoy an elephant ride in the wilds of Kanha followed by a jeep safari in the afternoon.

Kanha is a great place to spot many exotic animal species. Some of them include the barasingha, tiger, leopard, monitor lizard and different species of birds.

Stay overnight in Kanha.

Day 07: Kanha - Kawardha
Drive to Kawardha after breakfast. Check in at the Kawardha Palace on arrival.

Located in the state of Chhattisgarh, Kawardha boasts of a rich history. Home to many tribal races, it is also a perfect place to expose yourself the rich tribal culture of the state, especially that of the Bastars.

Enjoy a trip to the nearby tribal villages and get to know more about the life and customs of the local populace.

Stay overnight at the Kawardha Palace hotel.

Day 08: Kawardha - Raipur - Kanker (251 km / approx 7 hrs.)
On day 8 of the Central India Royal and Tribal tour, drive to Kanker.

A delightful tribal town, Kanker is indeed an experience to remember. Another attraction is the delightful landscape of Kanker that soothes the very soul.

Check in at the Kanker Palace and then set out to explore the hotel and its surroundings. Stay overnight at Hotel Kanker Palace.

Day 09: Kanker - Kondagaon - Narayanpur - Jagdalpur
Drive to Jagdalpur after breakfast. Enroute, stop to visit a colorful weekly market in North Bastar and mix with the local tribal populace. Later proceed to Kondagaon.

Apart from its rich tribal culture, Kondagaon is also known for its handicrafts. Also enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the green sal forests of the Bastar region besides trying out some dance steps with young members of the 'ghotul' dormitory of Bastar.

On arrival in Jagdalpur, check in at the hotel you are booked in. Overnight stay in Jagdalpur.

Jagdalpur Day 10: Jagdalpur
Enjoy a sightseeing tour around Jagdalpur after breakfast.

Located on the south bank of the Indravati River, Jagdalpur boasts of some interesting attractions. Visit the Chitrakote Falls, Bastar's own version of the "Niagra Falls". Also visit the Anthropological Museum besides meeting up with some members of the Bison-Horn Maria tribe that is known for its interesting ceremonial dancing.

Return for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11: Jagdalpur - Kanger Valley National Park - Jagdalpur
Enjoy an excursion to the Kanger Valley National Park after breakfast.

Excursion includes a visit to the Tirathgarh Waterfall along with the stalactite and stalagmite caves in the area. Kanger boasts of a soothing green forest cover and is home to a number of tribal races. Also get to know more about Jagdalpur's interesting handicrafts before returning for dinner at the hotel.

Day 12: Jagdalpur - Raipur
After breakfast drive to Raipur.

Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh is believed to have a history that dates back to around 9th century. The city also boasts of some attractions like the Burha Talab, Dudhadari Temple, Mahant Ghasi Das Memorial Museum and so on.

Overnight at Hotel.

Day 13: Raipur - Delhi
After breakfast, drive to the airport and board a flight to Delhi from where you will continue with your onward journey
